I was complaining to myself that I have way too many cookie recipes... I don't even eat that much cookies. Well, might as well use this challenge to make sure if I even want to have that many recipes in my notebook. This time I will only share pictures, as I'm pretty sure you can find similar if not the same recipes all over the wonderful world of internet.
So, let's start with recipe #14. Cookies. Well, here they are known as *drumrollplease* AMERICAN chocolate cookies. <.< Don't ask me why. That's how the recipe was named when I got it like 12 years ago. Basicly, this is a recipe I got from my friend's girlfriend after their party where these were served. Dunno if the recipe really comes from America or if someone just decided to call it that because the style of cookies. Anyway, I've been making these at least once a year because my kids love them. Well, pretty much every man in my life has loved them. (After our break-up with kiddos' father I was pretty much gloating over the fact that he couldn't get my baked goodies anymore)

As you can see, my kids loved that they were allowed to help. Specially the eldest who is quite skilled with handling the knife.
Then recipe #15 Gyudon. Well, recipe is called that and it uses beef. But as a single mother my wallet screams bloody murder if I consider getting beef. So this time made it from pork. I guess the more accurate name for this is Buta Don. Freaking good it is anyway, so go google the recipe variations and make some. The amount I made lasted me for couple dinners and one bento for work. This is why I only make it while kiddos stay with their dad.

Also I finally got to use those bowls my sister bought me for a birthday present. HAPPYYYY!!!!!!
Haven't much followed Olympic Games this year, but Finland got at least one gold medal, so you can see people going nuts about it today. At least my twitter feed was filled with news of it. Also I have pretty much spent my time watching Netflix this week. Just because the live action movie of Fullmetal Alchemist, aka 鋼の錬金術師 was released there last Monday. Loved every minute of it, but I think I'm biased because I pretty much love anything with Yamada Ryosuke in it. LOL.
Have a happy weekend everyone
